Chief Brian Manley was sworn in on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Eastside Memorial High School as Austin's homegrown Police Chief. This is the school Chief Manley attended as a teenager when it was named Johnston High School. Judge Cliff Brown administrated the oath of office as Chief Manley placed his left hand on a bible.
