Al Jarreau in Austin, Texas

Grammy Award winner Al Jarreau, performed Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at the One World Theatre in Austin. At 74 years old, as one of the attendees stated “He still has it.” I have been enjoying Al Jarreau’s music since the 70’s and was so glad to finally have the opportunity to meet him and listen to his music at one of the best theatres in Austin. I especially enjoyed his tribute to George Duke to close out the set. I remember listening to George Duke a few years ago at this same place.
