The African American Book Festival (aabf) is an intergenerational event to promote literature, reading, writing and library usage within the African American community.

This sixth year’s aabf featured two authors: Bernice L. McFadden and Elizabeth Nunez.

This year’s theme is Bronze Musings: Conversations About Black Life in Literature.

AABF took place at the Carver Museum and Library on Saturday June 23, 2012.
