The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) hosted the Annual Texas LEAD Professional Development Conference on Friday, July 24th, 2015. This conference allowed the attendees to communicate, connect and network with employers, executives, managers, entrepreneurs and professions in various fields of business. The dynamic speakers shared a wealth knowledge that empowered us with how to brand ourselves, how to leverage LinkedIn and Twitter, how to get into the Entrepreneurship mindset and how to find a good mentor. The keynote speaker, Gary Hoover, founder of Bookstop and Hoover.com provided his insightful entrepreneurial journey from a student at the University of Chicago and a security analyst for Citibank on Wall Street to the launch of Hooversworld.com and the start of Hoover Academy that teach students the Entrepreneurial mindset.
