Patti LaBelle at the Austin Rodeo

Multi-Grammy Award winner Patti LaBelle performed at the Austin Rodeo on Wednesday evening. At 72, Patti LaBelle sounds like she did decades ago. LaBelle’s career has spanned fifty years and she has sold more than 50 million records worldwide. LaBelle has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Apollo Theater Hall of Fame and the Songwriters' Hall of Fame. Patti ended her show with the song “You Are My Friend” while the overhead screen showed pictures of musical artists that have moved on to heaven. Patti LaBelle’s new album, #BelHommage, will be released on May 5th.
