AKA Economic Empowerment Summit in Austin

The Beta Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. sponsored an Economic Empowerment Summit in Austin on Saturday July 24, 2013.

The theme of the summit was “Building Economic Stability Together” that provided essential financial information and discusses strategic methods to strengthen your personal finances through innovative speakers and workshops.

The keynote speakers of this were Los Ellis, President and CEO of TraLos and Natalie Cofield, President and CEO of the Capital City African American Chamber of Commerce (CCAACC).

Some of the exciting workshops aimed at increasing your financial awareness and securing your economic stability included Debt Relief & Credit, Budgeting, Financial Aid Awareness, College loan/financial aid information, Entrepreneurship and much more.
