The 2019 Austin Area Jazz Festival (AAJF) had an intimate evening of great jazz entertainment featuring Grammy Award winner and Jazz Saxophonist Kirk Whalum, Jazz/Funk Trumpeter Tom Browne and Jazz Saxophonist Mike Hamilton on Friday, November 29, at the Millennium Youth Entertainment Complex. Whalum said he was excited to be back in Austin. Brown had the audience dancing in the aisles when he performed his popular hit, “Funkin for Jamaica.” Brown and Hamilton also performed together on stage. If you missed this year’s AAJF, be sure to stay tuned for next year.
