The Temptations and Four Tops 60th Anniversary Tour in Austin
The Motown sound of The Temptations and the Four Tops performed in Austin on March 9, 2022, at Bass Concert Hall. Each group had one original member performing on tour: Dr. Otis Williams of the Temptations and Abdul “Duke” Fakir of the Four Tops. If you are a fan of the Temptations and the Four Tops, this was a night to remember.
The Temptations are celebrating their 60th Anniversary through 2022. To mark this milestone, The Temptations released a brand-new album, Temptations 60, with nearly all-original songs, plus they are touring in the U.S in 2022 and will be touring abroad in the fall of 2022. Dr. Otis Williams, the sole surviving, original member of The Temptations, turned 80 on October 30th of 2021.
The Four Tops first sang together at a high school party in Detroit and their musical bond would carry them to the top of the charts since 1964. The last surviving member of the famous Motown harmony group, Abdul “Duke” Fakir, is releasing a new memoir called “I'll Be There" coming out in May, 2022. © 2022 Michael Lewis Global Photography, All Rights Reserved
