Montell Jordan performed in Round Rock Texas
Montell Jordan performed in Round Rock at the Juneteenth Festival at the Lakeview Pavilion and festival area in Old Settlers Park last year. Jordan was the headliner of the event. He told the crowd that now he is a pastor so he could not use all of the cuss words in his songs. Everyone seemed to understand and enjoyed his performance that Saturday evening. Jordan wore a white shirt with the words, “My God vs My Enemies.”
Montell Jordan is a singer, songwriter, record producer, and currently a pastor. Best known for his 1995 single "This Is How We Do It", Jordan was the primary male solo artist on Def Jam's Def Soul imprint until leaving the label in 2003. In 2010, Jordan left the music business to become the worship leader at Victory World Church in Norcross, Georgia.
