The theme of the Austin NAACP Banquet was “Equal Protection of the Law. Where Do We Stand”? The purpose of the Austin NAACP Banquet was to engage attendees by rekindling and reaffirming the philosophical belief that power is vested in the people, as stated by Austin NAACP president Nelson Linder. 

The 2025 Austin NAACP Banquet included 17 awards.  https://www.naacpaustin.com/ Jennifer Saunders, KXAN Evening News Anchor, was the Mistress of the Ceremony. The evening was filled with attendees capturing moments by the Christmas trees, taking group photographs, and reconnecting with individuals they had not seen this year or, in some cases, for many years.
