Black NFL Referees Making History on Monday Night Football
Monday Night Football will make history tonight! For the first time in National Football League history, an ALL Black Crew will officiate the November 23 Monday night game, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the Los Angeles Rams! The officiating crew will be led by referee Jerome Boger (former quarterback for Morehouse College), with 17 years of officiating under his belt. The other crew members are the umpire, Barry Anderson, down judge Julian Mapp, line judge Carl Johnson, side judge Dale Shaw, field judge Anthony Jeffries, and back judge Greg Steed.
